This vegan food supplement from ViVe Supplements uses a standardized konjac root extract. It is standardized to a content of 95% glucomannan. Standardization is an essential quality feature because it ensures that the stated proportion of the active plant ingredient is actually contained in the extract.
Glucomannan is a natural, water-soluble and indigestible swelling agent from the konjac root. The starch-like substance consists of branched carbohydrate chains. The valuable property of glucomannan is its strong swelling. When dry glucomannan comes into contact with water, it can expand to several times its original volume.
Note: Glucomannan capsules should always be combined with plenty of liquid. This is the only way the swelling agent can work effectively and ensure that it reaches the stomach. If there is insufficient fluid intake or if people have difficulty swallowing, there is a risk of suffocation.
Recommended consumption:
