Hyaluronic acid is an acidic polysaccharide that occurs and is produced naturally in our bodies. It is also known under the name hyaluronic acid.

Hyaluronic acid from yeast
ViVe Supplements deliberately avoids hyaluronic acid from animal sources. Instead, we use hyaluronic acid that has been obtained by fermenting yeast. The result is a vegan, high-quality and well-tolerated product with a high molecular weight.
Water storage in the body
Hyaluronic acid is said to have different properties. One gram of the polysaccharide can bind up to 6 liters of water. That's why hyaluronic acid is generally found where our body needs a lot of fluid, for example in the connective tissue, in the synovial fluid, in the eyes and in the intervertebral discs.
As the main component of synovial fluid, it acts as a lubricant and since water is hardly compressible, synovial fluid is also extremely pressure-resistant.
